DARI STATEMENT REGARDING LOSS OF COMMUNITY MEMBER
Dari Project is sad to pass on the following news about Ajay Suh, a community member and supporter of our work:

Dear Community Members and Friends,

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Ajay Suh (who was formerly known as Jane) passed away last week. Ajay was only 23 years old but was an active member of the LGBTQ and people of color communities. Most importantly, Ajay was an open, loving and gregarious friend who was adored by many.

We have lost a beautiful and energetic spirit who will be incredibly missed. While many were not able to attend the funeral service on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 in Queens New York, there will be a special memorial service scheduled in the next few weeks to give people the opportunity to pay their respects, celebrate and honor Ajay’s life. Details of the memorial service will be announced via email.

Please keep Ajay’s spirit in your hearts and join us in remembering her vibrant life and loving force.

With peace,

Un Jung Lim, Rej Joo, Elena Chang, Sung Won Park
